Chora Sfakion is a village in the south of Crete, within Chania. It is 75 km away from the prefecture of Chania. It is located in a particularly inaccessible and rugged area surrounded by the rugged slopes of Lefka Ori (White Mountains) and the numerous gorges formed in them.
The village is built almost at the end of the gorge of Imbros, one of the gorges of the area, through which the road that connects the settlement with Chania passes. It has a harbor from which ships depart for Gavdos and the small port of Agia Roumeli where the Samaria Gorge ends.
The main product of the area is olive oil. Close to the settlement there are remarkable beaches.
