Lentas is a remote coastal village located 74km south of Heraklion, on the southern slopes of the imposing Asterousia Mountains. It is a tourist resort and port, developed very lightly, with a potential for a very relaxing holiday. Access here is through Agioi Deka, near Moires and close to the village Miamou through a narrow paved road.
The road crosses the rough mountains and descends from an altitude of about 1000m to Lentas, a route that offers breathtaking views of the Libyan Sea and Lentas.
The surrounding area is full of beaches, so quiet that attract many nudists.
